The actors, music and research into Montana (which in case people don’t know was EXTENSIVE) make this the most realistic take in Far cry in my opinion. Not even to mention even at the end of the Resist ending, he is practically begging you to believe him, when he yells “I can save everyone, you gotta believe me!!” It was convincing I was thinking am I doing the right thing? It made me feel conflicted, though Hope county needs to be saved and some of the cult are clearly messed up I always felt a strange closeness and even feel SAFE around Joseph. Licensing deals with HBO TV’s ‘Better Call Saul’ and Ubisoft Games ‘Far Cry 4’ helped to increase the bands international profile. The cult was amazing too, it made me feel weirdly accepted that no matter what you do in the game you’re right around the corner from Joseph telling you about how he loves and wants to save you which he tells you all the time. In 2010, Parvyn was a founding member of The Bombay Royale, who in 2012 released their first album ‘You Me Bullets Love’, which went straight to number one on the iTunes ‘world’ charts. They nailed it tbh, they really did mission structure aside I care about Hope county and it’s residents. I think you’re right I think that’s what makes it so damn good and feel so authentic they went through a lot of trouble to make Hope county and it’s residents authentic to a sickening level that most people won’t experience or notice and that’s a shame tbf. That’s fair, and though I haven’t dipped down super deep into the behind the scenes yet I did watch a video that was talking about Mr Rick Ross and his experience with cults and how he said this was a super realistic take on it or I think they said in the video THE most realistic take. Take that away: and it’s a group that could exist irl As heard in the Far Cry 4 soundtrack Buy from iTunes (Digital) Buy from FatBeats (USA) Buy from Kudos (EU/UK) Buy from Amazon The Bombay Royale are dedicated to bringing music and mayhem of vintage Indian cinema back to the future, where it belongs. Because they had to make them do bad things, otherwise the player wouldn’t want to fight them, they’d want to join them.
Someone could easily start a cult by copying and pasting Eden’s Gate’s handbook, just excluding the crazy stuff they do in the game. Not only is it well fleshed out, it is convincing, it is plausible, it is realistic. That’s the true genius of FC5 and Eden’s Gate. Songs that make you want to meet John, songs that urge you to trust in Faith, songs that show the goodness of the Father. So they made the songs just as potent, but convincing. Read about The River OST Far Cry 4 by The Bombay Royale and see the artwork, lyrics and similar artists. But then they realized it would be unrealistic for a cult to have songs saying “we are terrible people and do terrible things.” No one wants to be evil, and no one would want to join. They started out by having side missions to destroy blaring cult speakers playing songs, and they initially had the songs sound raucous and bad. Having watched every possible video on the making and development of FC5, the devs had the exact opposite desire, which is why the game and everything about it is so damn good. Tiny rant, not directed at you: As someone who loves FC5, it grinds my gears to no end how a lot of people think that they made this game to mock the cult, or make fun of conservatives or religious people.
